Church wedding with celebration in Machern Monastery

This wedding took place in a church in Bernkastel-Kues on the beautiful Moselle, the celebration afterwards was in the monastery. A church wedding is increasingly rare these days, as it is often replaced by a free wedding. Both have their charm and the most important thing is that the type of wedding ceremony suits you. In both cases, organising a suitable photographer for the big day plays a very big role for most couples. If you are looking for a wedding photographer in the Rhine-Main area, you have come to the right place. Nowadays, modern photography makes it possible to capture the entire day of a bridal couple in the form of reportages. Wedding reportages from the getting ready to the ceremony are particularly sought after, because it is no longer just about the classic bride and groom shoot. This is of course a very important aspect of the day, but reportage photography also enables many unnoticed, spontaneous and above all authentic shots. These are taken during e.g. getting ready, wedding ceremony, congratulations, champagne reception, guests sitting together and the party in the evening. It makes it possible to capture the "real moments" when the bride and groom and guests usually don't even realise that they are being photographed. These are often our favourite pictures, because here we often manage to capture the true and authentic emotions.

Wedding photographer wanted?

In principle, we try to take as few pictures as possible for reportages. We simply love snapshots. Of course there are exceptions, such as the group and family pictures and the bridal couple shoot. But even here spontaneous and moving pictures are possible, you will see! If you want group pictures, you should plan some time for organisation. Because all the guests have to be arranged appropriately and not everyone is always directly on location. We will be happy to give you tips on how to achieve this quickly and without stress. The same applies to the bridal couple shoot, because here, too, a lot of spontaneous pictures can be taken. Here we have many ideas and tips for poses, which can then be easily and simply implemented on location during the shoot.

At Machern Monastery you can get married in a civil ceremony and celebrate. There are large and bright rooms available for this purpose, which are also very suitable for photography. This is also where the pictures of the bridal couple's shoot and the celebration for this report were taken.
