6 location tips in and around Frankfurt am Main
We are asked time and again by bridal couples if there is a top location out of all the weddings we have already accompanied that we can recommend without reservation or that we would also choose ourselves. For this reason, I decided to write a little about the topic and give you a few tips. In this case, it was impossible to limit ourselves to just one location. We ended up with a total of 6 recommendations, the first two of which refer to registry offices in Frankfurt am Main.

1. registry offices in Frankfurt am Main
My first recommendation relates to the registry offices in Frankfurt am Main directly. In and around Frankfurt there are countless beautiful registry offices that are also ideal for photography. In Frankfurt itself, however, I would like to make two top recommendations for choosing a registry office. One is the Bolongaropalast in Höchst and the other is the registry office in the Palmengarten in Frankfurt. The Bolongaropalast is suitable for all those who prefer a historical ambience. The baroque-style rooms are the most beautiful of all. The outdoor area also has a lot to offer: Namely, a direct and beautiful backdrop for congratulations, champagne receptions and photo spots as far as the eye can see. Not only the outside of the building is an absolute eye-catcher, but also the entire surrounding park. It is also within walking distance of Höchst's old town, where you will also find some great photo spots.
I also recommend the Schönbrunn House in the Palmengarten. It has a very modern and bright ambience, which is ideal for taking photographs. The location of the registry office is also very spacious and is situated in a well-kept garden with a variety of plants. This registry office also offers an all-round carefree package, because here too there are good opportunities to hold a champagne reception directly and countless photo spots in the entire area of the Palmengarten. Even if it rains, you can relax and go into the greenhouses for the photo shoot.
2. Dagobertshausen Estate in Hesse
Hofgut Dagobertshausen is a beautiful event location near Marburg. The journey time from Frankfurt am Main is approx. 1 hour. The lovingly restored event barn offers space to celebrate your wedding with large groups of up to 220 people. If the outdoor area is included, there is room for even more than 220 people. Directly adjacent to the event barn is a spacious and well-tended garden, as well as a historic courtyard. The entire Hofgut is an absolutely recommendable place to celebrate weddings. The nearby Pension Schlafgut and the associated Hotel Vila Vita Rosenpark also offer direct and good overnight accommodation for your guests.
3. winery & vinothek Tobias Mussler
At Weingut Mussler we celebrate extensively and in a very Mediterranean style. It is located in Bisserheim in the beautiful Palatinate - about 1 hour's drive from Frankfurt.
The location is suitable for parties of up to 70 people inside. Around the winery there is a beautiful terrace and a large garden with a beautiful and extensive cypress grove. This is a unique setting for free wedding ceremonies or for a long table for the evening dinner. Great exclusive photos and the absolute Italian flair are a guarantee in this location.
4. high Darsberg
The Hohe Darsberg is an exclusive wedding venue with country house charm near Heidelberg and is one of my absolute favourites. Weddings are not only held here at the weekend, but also on all other days of the week. The location is absolutely specialised in weddings and you get an all-round carefree package here. The Hohe Darsberg is located in the middle of a 25,000 square metre forest and meadow landscape. This means that you can celebrate as you please without having to be in the immediate vicinity and without a curfew. Everything here has its own special charm. The whole complex and all the rooms are well maintained and provide endless photo opportunities. The natural landscape also offers countless shooting opportunities for bridal couples and free wedding ceremonies.
5. von Huenersdorff Estate
This beautiful estate is located in Wörth am Main, about 50 minutes from Frankfurt am Main, and you can book it exclusively for you. The Hofgut offers brides and grooms everything they need in an extraordinarily well-kept and beautiful setting: there are some beautiful rooms to photograph the getting ready for the bride and groom, for example, and of course excellent service. Wedding ceremonies can be held indoors and outdoors, and the hall for dinner and the party in the evening leaves nothing to be desired on several levels. For bridal couple and family pictures, almost every corner of the Hofgut can be used, as the entire grounds are beautifully planted and exceptionally well maintained.
